This is a stunning companion piece to the smaller "Steel City."  It's a mixed media painting of acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels and a rusty piece of steel I found while magnet fishing in the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh!  This piece also pays homage to Pittsburgh's former glory as a smokey, steel mill-lined industrial city.
